How to Brainstorm Costume Ideas 

When gathering cosplay ideas, do you have a favorite character or a few in mind? It could be from your favorite movie, TV show, video game, or book. I’d recommend to write them down and brainstorm. Or,  if you’re artistic (like me) sketch them out to have a sort of blueprint for what you’re going create. Choose  something that’s perhaps not too crazy complicated, especially if you’re a new beginner at cosplay. But the tips in this guide can definitely be applied to those kinds of cosplay ideas as well. You could also Google many ideas from  various Youtubers or can even find a specific build on sites like Instructables.com. You could also go through various photo galleries taken at  comic con’s to help you get some inspiration.

Analyze the Results 

Once you have a solid cosplay idea down, analyze it . What materials do you think you’ll need to create your awesome cosplay? Once again brainstorm a list of parts/accessories you’ll need to gather, and you’ll have an idea of determining if the cosplay will be cheap and easy to make, or be complex. But remember, the most important thing about creating cosplay other than making it budget-friendly is having fun with it !
